India-UAE trade nearing pre-war levels, says Piyush Goyal

AI Summary

The anticipated return of India-UAE trade to pre-war levels is a positive sign for investors, particularly in sectors like energy, technology, and infrastructure that are set to benefit from increased bilateral cooperation. The ongoing commitment from the UAE to invest an additional $25 billion in India, alongside the push for local currency trade settlements, indicates a strengthening economic partnership that could enhance market stability and growth opportunities for Indian companies. Retail investors should monitor developments in these sectors as they could present lucrative investment avenues in the coming months.

Trade between India and the UAE will be back to pre-war levels in a few months, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal said on Monday.

“Trade between India and the UAE is coming back to pre-war levels. We are very close to it and in another few months we should get back to normal,” Goyal said after chairing the 14th India-UAE high-level joint task force on investments.
