When is IPO allotment decided?

IPO allotment is typically decided 6 business days after the IPO closes. For example, if an IPO closes on Monday, allotment results are usually available by the following Monday. The official allotment date is mentioned in the IPO prospectus.

What happens if I don't get IPO allotment?

If you don't get allotment, your blocked amount (ASBA) is unblocked and returned to your bank account within 6 working days of the allotment date. No interest is paid on the blocked amount during this period.
