Editorial Policy

1. Who Writes Our Content

Most articles are written by the TopFund team, sometimes with AI assistance during drafting, and reviewed by a human editor before publishing — those display "Reviewed by" alongside the reviewer's name. A smaller set of pages (IPO Analysis, IPO Comparison, and daily Market Insights briefings) are generated directly by our AI pipeline from live market data — GMP, subscription numbers, fund flows and similar — and republished automatically as that data updates. These are clearly labeled "AI-assisted" rather than shown a "Reviewed by" credit, since no human reviews each automated refresh. Every article displays its author regardless of which category it falls into.

Our News section works the same way: articles are aggregated from external wire sources (clearly credited under "Source" with a link out to the original), and TopFund adds its own analysis on top of each story. That analysis is either written and approved by a human editor — shown as "Reviewed by" with their name — or written entirely by our AI pipeline and published without human review, shown as "AI-assisted" instead, the same labeling used for IPO Analysis and Market Insights above. We do not label AI-assisted content as human-reviewed.

"AI-assisted" content stays on TopFund — we don't delete it — but it is not made indexable to search engines until it meets our editorial review criteria and a human editor signs off, the same bar every "Reviewed by" article already passed. Automated data refreshes (GMP, subscription numbers, fund flows and similar) update the factual market values on an existing page; they do not independently create a new indexable editorial page or move an unreviewed page into search results.

2. How We Source Information

Fund data, NAV history and returns come from AMFI and fund house filings. IPO data comes from NSE, BSE and registrar filings; GMP figures are clearly marked as unofficial grey-market indicators. Tax and regulatory information is checked against current Income Tax Department and SEBI guidance. Where an article cites external sources, they are listed at the bottom of that article.

3. Review Process

Before publishing, articles are checked for factual accuracy against source data, for calculation correctness in any figures or examples, and for compliance with our disclaimer — we do not publish buy/sell recommendations, only informational and educational content.

4. Keeping Content Current

Tax slabs, expense ratios, scheme rules and market data change over time. When we revise an article to reflect updated data or rules, we update its "Last updated" date so you always know how current the information is.

5. Corrections
