AI Summary
Green Gold Animation has launched its first Chhota Bheem Cafe, a children's wellness destination that combines healthy dining with immersive experiences based on its popular characters. The company plans to open a total of 50 cafes with an initial investment of ₹50 crore, targeting families looking for fun and nutritious meal options for children. This venture reflects a strategic expansion into the hospitality sector, leveraging its strong brand presence.
Green Gold Animation, the makers of the famed cartoon character Chhota Bheem, has forayed into the hospitality and physical entertainment sector by opening the maiden Chhota Bheem Cafe, an eatery that gives children a ‘feel’ of the mythical village Dholakpur.
Conceived as a children’s wellness destination, the cafe combines healthy food, play and learning through immersive experiences inspired by the world of Chhota Bheem, Chutki, Raju, Jaggu and other familiar characters from the series.
“The restaurant allows families to dine, celebrate and spend time with their favourite Chhota Bheem characters. Children can buy merchandise and get access to activities — all around the cartoon character,” Rajiv Chilaka, Founder & CEO, Green Gold Animation, has said.
The group targets 25 Chhota Bheem Cafés in the first phase, with an investment of ₹50 crore over the next few months. In the second phase, it would open another 25 outlets with a mix of company-owned and franchise-led stores.
The animation solutions company partnered with EBG Group to set up the restaurants under a franchise model.
“With growing concerns around childhood obesity, the cafe aims to make nutritious, balanced meals more accessible for children,” Irfan Khan, Founder & Chairman, EBG Group, said.
