Adani Energy Solutions Q1 FY27 profit jumps 124% to ₹1,149 crore

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, one of India’s integrated power infrastructure companies with operations spanning electricity transmission, distribution, smart metering and energy solutions, reported a 124 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to ₹1,149 crore in the first quarter of FY27.

The company’s revenues from operations rose 42 percent year-on-year to ₹9,711 crore during the quarter. The growth was driven by strong performance across its key businesses, including a 52 per cent increase in the transmission segment, 47 per cent growth in distribution, 210 per cent rise in smart metering and 812 per cent growth in the energy solutions platform.

Revenue from operations for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 stood at Rs 9,837.82 crore before accounting for regulatory adjustments.

After considering the surplus/recovery of Regulatory Asset Charge (RAC) for past years, the reported revenue from operations stood at ₹9,711.08 crore.

The company had reported revenue from operations of Rs 6,819.28 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Adani Energy Solutions operates across multiple segments, including power transmission, distribution, smart metering, energy solutions platform and EPC contracts.

The transmission business focuses on providing transmission lines for power transmission, while the distribution segment includes transmission and distribution of electricity in Mumbai city and the Mundra distribution business.

The smart metering business focuses on deployment of smart meters, while the energy solutions platform caters to commercial and industrial consumers and includes trading activities.
